Bulgaria’s Premier Kiril Petkov congratulated Dimitar Kovachevski on his inauguration as Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia and wished good luck to this country’s new government. "I am looking forward to working together with Premier Kovacheski for a new constructive dialogue and understanding in the interest of our bilateral relations", Premier Kiril Petkov wrote on the government’s Facebook page.

“Bulgaria’s position on the European perspective of our close neighbor, the Republic of North Macedonia, is consistent and clear and good neighborliness can bring substantial benefits not only for the two countries, but for the entire region”, notes Premier Petkov.
