Weather forecast for Sunday 23 January: Temperatures will continue to drop

Over the next 24 hours the weather will continue windy and cold. In the morning there will be scattered clouds, more significant in the afternoon, and there will be occasional snow. The moderate, in the Danubian Plain and in the Eastern regions to temporarily strong wind will continue, and will usher in colder air. Minimum temperatures will range from minus 9° C. to minus 4° C., in some valleys – minus 12° C. Daytime highs will reach minus 3° C. to2° C. For Sofia, minimum temperature minus 8° C., maximum around minus 4° C. 

Over the mountains tomorrow there will be considerable clouds and light snow. The strong to gale-force wind from the North-Northwest will continue.In the mountain passes there will be blizzards and drifts. Temperatures will be low, reaching a maximum, at 12,000 m of around minus 9° C., at 2,000 m around minus 16° C.
