The Ministry of Economy is sending to the Prosecutor's Office and the Anti-Corruption Commission the contract with the Bulgaria Expo 2020 consortium worth BGN 6.7 million due to Bulgaria's unsatisfactory performance at the World Expo in Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Korneliya Ninova said.

"For us, this is a black hole in which millions of Bulgarian citizens' money have sunk," she said.
Korneliya Ninova has suspended all payments and, she said, not a single lev will go to such corruption schemes.
The contract with the consortium was signed in 2019, after the GERB government decided that Bulgaria would participate in the world exhibition "Expo 2020 Dubai".
