An introductory online lecture on March 12 opened the "Green School 2022", which will last until May. The initiative, which is aimed at young people between the ages of 18 and 35, is part of the FoodWave project and is implemented with the support of the Sofia Municipality.

In addition to virtual theoretical lectures, there will be practical classes on organic farms, urban gardens, zero-waste restaurants, workshops and shops. The aim is for the participants to learn more about food production in an environmentally friendly way and world practices in this direction, as well as to understand the essence of food independence.
During the lectures, young people will learn what is the difference between "organic" and "eco" products, what is synergistic agriculture, and what are the foods with a negative and positive impact on nature. The topic of space foods will also be addressed.
