Grigor Dimitrov qualifies for Indian Wells round of sixteen

Grigor Dimitrov has qualified for the Indian Wells Open round of sixteen in the USA. In the third round of the tennis tournament, Bulgaria’s best tennis player defeated 6:3, 6:4 Alexander Bublik from Kazakhstan in a match that lasted for 71 minutes. 

Dimitrov won the match without scoring an ace. Bublik hit 9 aces. However, Grigor Dimitrov won 81% of his points on the first serve. Dimitrov won 2 out of all 4 breakpoints.

In the round of sixteen Dimitrov, who reached the Indian Wells semifinals in 2021, will play versus John Isner (USA) who is 23rd in the ATP rankings. So far, Dimitrov and Isner have played 3 matches. Dimitrov has 1 victory and 2 defeats.
