The ruling coalition will lift the extraordinary epidemic situation in the country but health authorities will still have the right to put in place anti-epidemic measures. This will be made possible after the amendments to the Health Act submitted to the National Assembly are approved. The extraordinary epidemic situation is in place until 31 March, and the amendments are expected to be endorsed before the end of the month.
As is the case now, the health authorities will be able to introduce Covid rules such as mask-wearing or vaccination campaigns, though they will not be able to prohibit travel abroad.
