NATO Maritime Commander Keith Blount visits Bulgaria

The leadership of Bulgaria’s Ministry of Defense met with Vice Admiral Keith Blount, Commander of NATO’s Allied Maritime Command, to discuss security in the Black Sea region and the risks to the NATO members in the region stemming from the war in Ukraine

Keith Blount is on an official visit to Bulgaria until May 11. Vice Admiral Keith Blount was acquainted with the development of the defense capabilities of the Bulgarian Armed Forces. The emphasis was placed on NATO's forward presence in the Black Sea region and defense investment at national level, the Ministry of Defense informs.
