Expulsion of a Bulgarian diplomat from Moscow confirmed

The Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed the news for expulsion of an employee of the Bulgarian embassy in Moscow. The Bulgarian diplomat should leave the territory of the Russian Federation in 72 hours.

Earlier today, a statement from the Russian Foreign Ministry read that Russia had taken reciprocal measures against Sofia and declared an employee of the Bulgarian embassy in Moscow a persona non-grata. According to the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this was an expected act from the Russian Federation.
