The relocation of Ukrainian refugees from hotels on Bulgaria's Black Sea coast to inland state-owned accommodation facilities has begun.
More than 500 hotels will accommodate refugees. They will receive EUR 7.50 per person per day.
The refugees will be transported by rail. The relocation will continue until June 1.
All accomodation facilities have been provided with medical care and food for a period of 3 months. Refugees will have the opportunity to find a job in nearby towns and villages. The accommodation program for war refugees will continue until February 24, 2023.
Nearly 7,000 refugees are accommodated in Varna and Varna region. There are nearly 10,000 refugees near Burgas and 2,000 in Dobrich region.
