Number of active Covid cases in Bulgaria drops below 75,000

There were 182 new Covid cases registered in Bulgaria in the past day, or 134 fewer cases in comparison to the day before. 66.5% of the newly infected were non-vaccinated citizens. 4.35% of 5,434 tests were positive, according to the portal coronavirus.bg.

The number of active Covid cases declined to 74,319. A total of 35 patients were admitted to hospitals yesterday. 27 of the newly hospitalized or over 77% are non-vaccinated citizens. The number of hospitalized patients decreased by 13 to 372 as 35 people are in intensive care.

Three coronavirus patients passed away yesterday. All of them were non vaccinated citizens. On Tuesday the number of recoveries reached 882 and a total of 600 vaccines were administered.
