Holidays on the Bulgarian Black sea this summer will cost much more, according to data from the Institute for Analysis and Assesment in Tourism, quoted by bTV network.

While last year a one-week holiday for a family of four cost an average of BGN 1,700 (EUR 871), now it reaches BGN 2,400 (EUR 1,229)

Despite the considerable price rise, experts predict a strong season and expect 1.5 million more visits in the summer season, compared to 2021.

Inflation and hoteliers' increased spending on employee salaries are among the reasons that have led to the rise in holiday prices.
