If you are planning a weekend by the sea, you could visit Bulgaria’s Southern Black Sea Coast and attend a Fish Festival. The event will take place on June 17 and 18 as the host is the Cultural and Tourist Complex Chengene Skele near Burgas.

The participants in the event will present a variety of fish and other seafood delicacies, a wide selection of Bulgarian wines, as well as a variety of souvenirs dedicated to the sea, fishing gear and more.

The highlight of the festival programme is on Saturday, when chefs from the Burgas Naval Base, students, amateurs and local fishermen will compare their mastery in preparing the most delicious fish soup.
