Bulgarian rhythmic gymnastics competitor Boryana Kaleyn won the gold in the hoop final during the World Games held in Birmingham, USA. The World Games is an international multi-sport event comprising sports and disciplines that are not contested in the Olympic Games. The Bulgarian breezed through the qualifiers and entered the hoop and ball finals with the highest scores. Kaleyn remained fifth with the ball because of errors she made, but she was excellent with the hoop.

Bulgarians Ana-Maria Stoilova and Antonio Papazov won a bronze medal in the mixed pairs event of the aerobics tournament.
