Part of the settlements in the Plovdiv region, which were affected by the floods after the heavy rains in the amount of nearly 200 l/sq.m, now have electricity supply. The water supply is gradually being restored. The clearing of sediments continues, as well as the restoration of the infrastructure of the 3 most affected villages - Bogdan, Karavelovo and Slatina. There are no people in distress who are not sheltered, said the mayor of Karlovo municipality Emil Kabaivanov, BNR Plovdiv reported. Food and water are distributed to those affected.

A mobile group from the Ministry of the Interior issues identity documents on the spot in the flooded villages.
More than 70 specialized machines and nearly 850 employees of the fire department, the army, the road agency, forestry farms and volunteers have been involved in helping to overcome the consequences of the flood in the Plovdiv region, where a partial state of emergency has been declared. This was announced by the press service of the Council of Ministers, quoted by BTA.
