There are 53,000 Ukrainian refugees in Bulgaria

According to the unified information portal "Bulgaria for Ukraine", there are 53,000 Ukrainians in Bulgaria. 16,000 are accommodated in municipal and state facilities. Nearly 800,000 Ukrainians have entered Bulgaria since the beginning of the war in Ukraine. More than 138,000 have received temporary protection.

By October 10, more than 43,000 Ukrainian citizens with temporary protection status have applied for one-off benefits to the tune of EUR 191.
