Bulgaria reports 2 Covid-related deaths in past day, number of new infections decreases with 12%

779 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past day out of 5,471 tests performed, 106 down on the previous day. 14.2% of the tests came back positive, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. 63% of the new Covid-19 cases are among the unvaccinated.

The number of active cases of Covid-19 decreased with 15 to 10,694.

84 people have been admitted to hospital in the past 24 hours. 65 of them, or 77.4%, were not immunized. The number of hospitalized patients increased with 2 to 690, as 45 are in intensive care units.

2 Covid-related deaths have been reported in the past day. 792 people have been reported cured. 2,005 vaccine dozes were administered on Thursday.
