MRF supports the formation of an ideologically homogeneous Euro-Atlantic majority. This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the MRF and Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Yordan Tsonev after a meeting with the contact group nominated by GERB to form a government.

"Our position is that solving people's problems goes through solving the political crisis, which in turn goes through forming a majority and a government. We believe that this majority should be Euro-Atlantic because there lies the key to solving our security and economic problems," Tsonev said.
He also added that the budget should not be approved, unless a stable majority is formed to take responsibility for the budget policies, because he sees a danger of undermining the financial stability of the country for populist reasons.
