Martin Dimitrov of "Democratic Bulgaria" said that his coalition was ready to accept the third mandate if the second one was not realized. However, according to the party, the second term has the greatest potential for forming a cabinet. If it reaches "We Continue the Change", "Democratic Bulgaria" is ready to negotiate with the party on priority topics.

"The regular government is stronger than the caretaker one. The official governments choose the topics to be active on and say they are just a caretaker government and cannot deal with other issues,” Dimitrov said. According to him, Bulgaria faces a risk of losing funds under the Just Transition Mechanism, which should support the transition of the economies of the country's coal-mining regions.
