Representatives of the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria (CITUB) called on the MPs to submit a draft budget for 2023, increase the minimum monthly salary from EUR 363 to EUR 435 euros and introduce a minimum tax-exempt ammount.
Trade unionists gave the MPs a Christmas tree hung with notes spelling out their demands: "Working poor no more! Bills are rising, wages are not! Income for all, not for a handful of people!", etc.
