Bulgaria reports 147 new Covid-19 infections, 5 deaths

147 is the number of new Covid-19 cases out of 2,365 tests performed in the country in the past 24 hours, a positivity rate of 6%, Single Coronavirus Portal Information data show. 59% of the new infections are among the unvaccinated. 

The highest number of newly registered cases is in Sofia - 38, in Burgas – 18, and in Sliven – 13

357 patients are being treated in hospital, 33 of them in intensive care. 69% of the 36 new hospital admissions are among the unvaccinated.

Five patients have died, none of them were vaccinated. The number of recoveries reported is 338.

3,754 is the number of active cases in the country. 

312 doses of vaccine against coronavirus have been administered in the past day. 2,074,734 people in the country have completed their vaccination cycle.
