Expectations of experts for 2023 are for a more balanced real estate market, the chairman of the National Real Estate Association, Dobromir Ganev, has told the BNR.

According to him, in recent years there has been an overlap of many factors that have led to a high interest in the housing market, as this is valid not only in Bulgaria. "In 2022, we saw house price indices reach a record high as they marked 15-16% growth in the second quarter compared to the same period of 2021. We expect a decline in growth, which will probably fall from 15% to 10% or below," Ganev said. According to him, there would be a decline in the number of deals, but this will only apply to some cities.
