Vandals destroy part of the dunes on the beach in Nessebar

Unknown perpetrators have destroyed part of the exotic dunes in the Black Sea resort of Nessebar, announced the concessionaire Kiril Spasov. The sand hills on the southern beach were plowed, most likely with an excavator.

"In an identical way, a wide strip of the beach along more than 300 m was plowed. Part of the sand excavated from the strip covered the dunes", explained the concessionaire.

He filed a report with the authorities on Friday after he happened to pass by the beach and saw the damage.

The case is already under investigation and witnesses are being questioned. There was also a report of plowed dunes last year, but on the beach in Sinemorets.
