The Central Election Commission (CEC) will publish video footage of the ballot count in each sectional election commission, the Central Election Commission’s Chairperson Kamelia Neykova said for the BNT. CEC will issue guidance to the sectional election commissions to ensure good visibility during the vote counting. It is not clear yet how the video surveillance will be technically organized.

The preparation for the 2 April snap election is on schedule, Kamelia Neykova assured, stressing that there is no problem with the provision of paper for the voting machines. Voting machines will only print the name of the selected party and the number of preference on the machine-voting ballots.
