Anton Kisse, President of the Association of Bulgarians in Ukraine, said this in his address on this occasion. He recalled that about 1,000 Bessarabian Bulgarians, including Danail Nikolayev, Stefan Lyubomsky, Stefan Kisov, Avram Gudzhev and others, were volunteers in the Russo-Turkish war.
