An ordinance for monitoring food prices from the producer to the store is being finalised. The Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Finance are to give the draft ordinance a final touch before it is submitted to the Council of Ministers, caretaker Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry Yavor Gechev announced at the protest of grain producers which took place near the village of Gorna Studena, the BNR’s correspondent in Veliko Tarnovo Zdravka Maslyankova reported. Work is under way on a software for a unified system where producers, importers and retailers will have to declare any food-related information.
