Over a hundred prominent Bulgarian intellectuals have signed a call to the parties with Euro-Atlantic values to form parliamentary majority and a government.
The document was published on Facebook by Prof. Vili Lilkov - one of the founders of the "Union of Democratic Forces" and "Democrats for a Strong Bulgaria", a former deputy and municipal councilor.
"Those who signed this appeal call on the political parties that define themselves as pro-European to reach understanding and form a parliamentary majority based on clear priorities and an undisputed candidate for prime minister, who will take responsibility for leading the country out of the deepening political and economic crisis," the text reads.
