This weekend, skiers will get their last chance of skiing in Bulgaria’s biggest ski resorts, as the ski season closes after Easter.
The resorts in question are Vitosha, Borovets and Pamporovo; the ski zone in Basnko will remain open on Monday and will then close. The Mountain Rescue Service is cautioning tourists to take the weather forecast into account ahead of planning a hike, as weather conditions will change and there is danger of avalanches.
Rain is in the forecast for tomorrow afternoon, so outdoor activities in the mountains should be planned for the morning.
