“Vazrazhdane" are ready to form government if they receive the mandate

During the series of consultation meetings on forming a government, President Rumen Radev met with the representatives of the "Vazrazhdane" party. Their leader Kostadin Kostadinov said that his party had no intention of staying in opposition, but wanted to govern and was ready to propose a cabinet if it received a mandate. He pointed out the adoption of the state budget as the main priority of the parliament. Kostadinov also said that he would work to limit the power of the chief prosecutor.

The party leader once again reiterated Vazrazhdane's initiative to organize a referendum to keep the Bulgarian lev as national currency and added that they have collected enough signatures to make the referendum mandatory. He accused the biggest coalitions in parliament of a "hidden, creeping coup d'état" because they wanted to introduce the euro.
