Bulgaria has clearly stated its ambitions to develop high-tech and green industries, President Rumen Radev said at an official signing ceremony of a declaration of Bulgaria’s accession to the European Battery Alliance. The alliance’s main aim is to build up battery technology and production capacity in the EU, which is crucial for low-emission mobility, energy storage, and Europe’s economic strategy.
In President Radev’s words, joining the European Battery Alliance “opens up new horizons for Bulgarian science, industry and innovation”.
