Bulgaria should join the European Defence Agency's project arrangement for the collaborative procurement of ammunition for Ukraine, diplomat Stefan Tafrov said for BNT.

In his words, it is important that the US assistance to Ukraine continues in every respect - militarily, politically, economically, "in order for Ukraine to prevail over Russia, which is of vital interest of all Europeans". However, according to Tafrov, the support for Ukraine will decrease if Donald Trump returns to the White House. An overwhelming majority of EU citizens back the bloc’s continued support for Ukraine, Stefan Tafrov said referring to a European poll. The war will not end quickly and Ukraine needs weapons, Stefan Tafrov noted.
