"New Step" and a new music style was born

The band 4ethno releases its first single

"Music in our country is in its Renaissance" - say the band 4ethno /to be prronounced CHETNO/ and the vocal trio Idepeya, after releasing their debut single New Step - an innovative combination of musical styles, folk motifs among them, performed by multiple instruments to achieve an organic sound that make it a universal yet memorable piece of music. A piano riff flows into folk vocals, which in turn flow into an electric guitar solo, which in turn flow into the gentle voice of one of the leaders of the musical project, Viktoria Angelova. With this title, the young artists from Ruse are making a kind of statement - for a new type of music in Bulgaria.

"Music for us is not just life, it is a necessity, a constant and a dream. It is our great privilege to have the chance to share our debut single with the public and we hope that with our art we will make someone's day better" - says Gotse Velikov, who is at the heart of this project. Anna-Maria Tamakhkyarova, the violinist of 4ethno, adds, "We have prepared four more singles, which will be released very soon."

Authors of the music and lyrics are Gotse Velikov, Victoria Angelova and the pianist of 4etno - Irina Atanasova.
