On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the death of Agrarian Union leader and Prime Minister of Bulgaria, Aleksandar Stamboliyski, a national commemorative meeting is being held near Slavovitsa. According to chair of the organisation, Petya Stavreva, Stamboliyski managed to lead Bulgaria out of the second national catastrophe, to create a working economy and raise the standard of living.
