On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the death of Agrarian Union leader and Prime Minister of Bulgaria, Aleksandar Stamboliyski, a national commemorative meeting is being held near Slavovitsa. Organizer is "The United Agrarians" party. According to chair of the organisation, Petya Stavreva, Stamboliyski managed to lead Bulgaria out of the second national catastrophe, to create a working economy and raise the standard of living.
