On the eve of the new political season - on September 1, the Bulgarian parliament resumes its work, as Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov said that he expected a mobilization of the deputies for the adoption of a number of important laws for the country.

The most urgent is the law related to the anti-corruption commission, as this is a basic condition on the way to Schengen, Denkov pointed out to journalists.

In response to a question about the reform of the security services, the Prime Minister was adamant that their restructuring should be discussed in a way that does not allow white spots in their work, as they currently exist.

Regarding the government's desire to replace the chief secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the resistance met by the president, Denkov stated that if the president does not sign the decree to release the secretary general, the only other option is a change in the law, which must be made by the parliament.
