The Bulgaria Men’s National Volleyball Team lost 0:3 to France at the round of sixteen of the 2023 Men’s European Volleyball Championships. The match was played in Bulgaria’s coastal city of Varna. Bulgaria took a 2:0 lead in the first set, but in the end, France won a straight-set victory- 25:21; 25:21; 25:15.
"We failed to show our real potential. The truth is that you can't win a round of sixteen against an Olympic champion with a 35% offence" said Plamen Konstantinov, head coach of the Men’s National Volleyball Team.
