Bulgarian Prime Minister says Russia should not talk about compliance with treaties

If Ukraine used the missiles or parts of missiles sent by Bulgaria, they would be used for the defense of its cities, not for attack. This is what Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov commented on the occasion of Moscow's sharp reaction after the decision of the parliament in Sofia to hand over to Kyiv scrapped missiles for anti-aircraft systems S-300. "If they are used, they will be used to protect people. These are not offensive missiles. I think that after everything we have seen for the past year and a half, Russia is the last one that could talk about complying with international contracts," Denkov said.

Denkov also commented that the date of the national holiday "might nor be decided through the Constitution". "We saw a lot of different points of view, as apart from May 24, the dates of September 6 and September 22 were regularly commented," Denkov said.
