The Symphony Orchestra of the Bulgarian National Radio opens its creative season this evening in "Bulgaria" Hall.

Under the baton of the new chief conductor Konstantin Ilievski, the first concertmaster of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, Dalibor Karvay, will make his debut with violin concerto by Brahms. The soloist will perform on a 330-year-old Stradivarius 1694 ex Benecke, owned by the Austrian National Bank.

The concert program also includes the symphonic prelude "Solitude" by Pancho Vladigerov and Dvořák's ninth symphony "From the New World".

The performance of a Bulgarian work in every concert will be one of the hallmarks of the new creative season of the BNR Symphony Orchestra.
