The administrative court in Sofia has opened a case on the complaint of Vanya Grigorova, who contested the runoff for mayor of Sofia. Grigorova, supported by "BSP for Bulgaria", lost the election for the mayoral seat in the capital city to Vasil Terziev from PP-DB, "Save Sofia", with a margin of 1.31%.
Despite the initiated case, the court decided that Terziev can take office. It rejected Grigorova's appeal in the part in which she wanted Terziev's stepping into office to be stopped before the court's final ruling. PP-DB announced that Vasil Terziev will start work as mayor of Sofia on Monday, November 13.
