Survey: The local election results have not changed the political landscape

The local elections have not changed political attitudes in the country. Confidence in the Bulgarian government has dropped to 20%. Distrust of the electoral process is high. 47% of respondents believe that the local elections were unfair, 19% of the polled are of the opposite opinion, shows a representative survey by Research Centre Trend, commissioned by "24 Chassa" daily.

59% of respondents said that mixed voting with paper ballots and voting machines should remain in place. 44% of respondents do not believe that the local elections will change anything in their municipality. 29% are optimistic that there will be a change, and 16% expect that things will get worse. GERB remains the first political force with 24.7% support, followed by We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria with 17.9%. Vazrazhdane comes third with 15.4%, followed by the Movement for Rights and Freedoms with 13.3%, the Bulgarian Socialist Party with 9.4% and There is Such a People party with 4.4%. 30% of respondents want early elections. 47% of the polled are against early elections.
