The forensic analysis of the explosion near former Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev's car has been completed, the deputy city prosecutor and spokesperson for the Sofia City Prosecutor’s Office Hristo Krastev said for BNR. No person has so far been suspected as the perpetrator of the explosion. Investogators are working on all possible versions.

Bulgarian experts had trouble unlocking Alexey Petrov's phone, so they turned to the FBI for help. “We have the assurance that they will do everything possible and will be able to trace the correspondence that could help us",  said Sofia City Prosecutor Iliana Kirilova.
