Hristo Botev School in New York to host workshop for Bulgarian folk dance

Hristo Botev Bulgarian School, New York is to host for the first time in New York Professor Dr. Anton Andonov for a Bulgarian Folk Dance Workshop! The event will take place from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on February 4 at 351 West 18th Street, 6th floor, New York, NY 10011. It is open to persons aged over 14. Professor Andonov is currently the Head of the Choreography Department at the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts - Plovdiv, Bulgaria. He is author of numerous academic publications and scientific works on Bulgarian Folk Dance. 

Professor Andonov also serves as a ballet-master at the Trakia Folklore Ensemble - Plovdiv and as a choreographer at the Sunny Beach Folklore Ensemble - Nessebar. He is a lecturer on the subject of Traditional Bulgarian Dance and Folklore in Bulgaria, France, Belgium, Italy, England, Greece, Serbia, USA, Japan, South Korea and other countries. Professor Andonov serves as a jury member in numerous international and national competitions and festivals.
