Two-time Olympic champion in alpine skiing Tina Maze will be among the VIP guests at the Men's alpine events in Bansko on February 10 and 11. The Slovenian is the fourth big star after Alberto Tomba, Marc Girardelli and Ted Ligeti, who pays a visit to the winter resort at the invitation of the Bulgarian Ski Federation.
During her successful career, Maze won 2 gold medals in the downhill and giant slalom events at the Sochi 2014 Olympics, as well as two silver medals in super giant and giant slalom at the Vancouver 2010 games. Maze won a total of 26 World Cup races during her career and 81 medals. She has participated in 6 starts of the World Cup in Bansko and grabbed 4 medals. Tina Maze now works as commentator on alpine skiing for Eurosport.
