The 27-year old weightlifter achieved 348 kgs. in the bout and in the push-up, and, for the second time after 2019 in Batumi, won the gold at a European championship, setting a European record. He recorded the top result with 155 kgs. in the throw and 193 kgs. in the push.
The silver medal in the duel went to Mohamed Ozbek, Turkey, and the bronze – to Ritvars Suharevs, Latvia.
