National cross-country running competition marks 151 years since the death of Vasil Levski

The Municipality of Troyan expects over 200 participants to take part this Saturday, February 17, in the National cross-country running competition "In the Footsteps of Levski", dedicated to the 151st anniversary of the death of the Apostle of Freedom, BTA has reported.

The participants from all over the country are divided into age groups, which will run along different routes (3, 10 and 12 km long). The award ceremony for the winners will be in front of the Troyan monastery, where the participants will be welcomed with hot tea and there will be treats for the children, too.

Representatives of military schools in the country will also take part in the competition.
