Grigor Dimitrov stuns Alcaraz and reaches the semi-finals against Zverev in Miami

Grigor Dimitrov showed incredible performance and qualified for the semi-finals of the Masters 1000 series tournament in Miami. The Bulgarian won 6:2, 6:4 against top-seeded Carlos Alcaraz from Spain who is also 2nd in the world rank list. This way Dimitrov will play in the semi-finals for the first time in Miami, where he will face No. 5 in the world ranking, Alexander Zverev from Germany. So far, the German leads with 7:1 wins in direct matches against Dimitrov. With the latest victory, Grigor Dimitrov has climbed to 11th place in the world ranking.

"I was really able to dictate the game, read it a little bit better than last time. Overall, I think it was a very good match from my side and I'm just happy that I finished it in two sets," Dimitrov said after the victory.
