The caretaker cabinet has tasked caretaker Minister of Transport and Communications Georgi Gvozdeikov with coordinating the activities connected with the technical preparation and organization of the elections for National Assembly and for European Parliament on 9 June. This includes coordinating, with the Central Election Commission, the arrangements and terms of production, delivery and storage of all election papers and materials, as well as the storage of the voting machines.
“I believe we shall all welcome the decision by force of which Minister Gvozdeikov is to head the election headquarters so fair and democratic elections can take place,” said GERB leader Boyko Borissov.
