What are the most important gastronomical and food and beverage tendencies in 2024? How are customer tastes changing, and are restaurateurs and chefs ready for these changes? And also – will Bulgaria at long last become a gourmet destination? These and other questions will be discussed during the Food & Beverage Forum 2024.
The event, the first of its kind, bringing together chefs de cuisine, hotel and restaurant operators in this country, will take place in Sofia on 8 May. The participants will discuss the major tendencies in the industry, and will analyse the expertise in this sphere in Europe and the world. The focus will fall on Bulgaria’s enormous potential as a gourmet destination.
National cuisine will be discussed with an accent on two things – which foods and dishes have the potential to become the “calling card” of Bulgaria’s gastronomy abroad, and how the country can promote the highly popular food or gourmet tourism outside Bulgaria. Particular attention will be given to Bulgarian wines and wine cellars, as well as the role of tour operators in promoting wine and dine routes in the country.
The forum is organized by the prestigious platform Hotel Forum and the Bulgarian Association of Hotel Executives (BAHE).
