Velingrad to host L'etape Bulgaria by Tour de France

L'etape Bulgaria by Tour de France will be held for the second consecutive year in and around Velingrad in southern Bulgaria. More than 1,000 riders are expected to take part in the race, which starts at 8.30am on Sunday from the centre of Velingrad.

The route passes through a number of picturesque Rhodope villages, including Ablanitsa, Tsvetino, Gorna Dubeva, Vranantsi, on to the main road to Sarnitsa and back to the town centre.
