Minister of Tourism Evtim Miloshev and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Maria Angelieva discussed the measures taken by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to facilitate the work of consular offices in third countries, which receive numerous applications for the recruitment of workforce in Bulgaria and for tourist visas, reported BTA. ''We are working to provide additional consular officers to serve a larger number of nationals at our priority consular offices in Delhi, Istanbul, Edirne, Bursa, Doha, Jakarta, Tashkent, Dubai, Cairo, Riyadh and others", Deputy Minister Angelieva said.

Evtim Miloshev and Maria Angelieva also discussed the upcoming suspension of the National Visa Information System (NVIS) from August 9 to 18. The suspension is due to the introduction of a new version of the system, which is directly related to the country's readiness for Schengen.
