Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 9 August 2024

The weather on Friday will be sunny. Cloudy skies are expected in the northwestern half of the country. Mostly in the mountains of western and central Bulgaria, it will rain. 

Minimum temperatures will be between 14 and 21°C, in Sofia - 15°C. Maximum temperatures will be from 30°C to 38°C, in the capital Sofia - 32°C. 

Along the Black Sea coast it will be sunny with moderate easterly breeze. Air temperatures will be up to 28-30°C. The sea water temperature is 26-27°C. 

There will be variable clouds over the mountains, more significant over the western ranges and there will be showers and thunderstorms in places. The maximum temperature at 1,200 m altitude will be up to 26°C, at 2,000 m - up to 18°C.

On Saturday and Sunday sunny weather is the forecast. There will be clouds over the eastern parts and it may rain in places.
